Ha ha ok thats fair enough, though tbh you can get away without using the rear brake... I was wondering if a thingie was on the front brake because that would be dodgy!! :(

it was very funny actually, he'd had an off at mallory park but managed to only damage his fairing and exhaust, then someone overbalanced and dropped their bike into his - knocking the rear set off. 15 cable ties later...ta dah!! he did a wheelie, and went home with a pillion on the back, lol!
cables ties fix everything

Is he slightly mad? I mean doing a wheelie is all good but with a dodgy back brake... could be bad ha ha

What bike was it?

Nahhh be reet. Who remembers to use the back brake when it goes a bit too far up anyway?

Dunno, not much of a wheelie fiend myself, well not the high ones... I get power wheelies on a fairly regular basis though, no need for brake on those.

Ooh giving me a bit more insight as to why your chain snapped.worrying a lot less aobut my chain now! my baby 33bhp isn't at such a risk. Anyway as yc (i think) pointed out the Vs don't need the back brake massively do they, throttle off would sit it down. You interested in doing a track day or wheelie school or something nick? I quite fancy organising a pennine massive novice one.

Yep, slamming the throttle shut in a panicked style will usually result in the front wheel hitting the ground at at least 2 million mph, sufficient to implant the petrol tank into your balls so hard, the only way to impregenate a woman would be to spit very accurately.

I dunno Dave. Id like to but the problem is that if I trash my bike im screwed as its my only transport... If I get a track hound then sure enough ill be upto it!!!

Indeed my bike puts out 33bhp at about 2k RPM... and a shed load of torque all the time. Chain is the same size :-? Not good for long lasting I guess :(
