Well i wont either but at the time the things i needed were only avaliable from jhs and then leter when the bike was stripped again it turned out there wernt quite what they were sold as;) Hence low hp;)

And If anyone remembers I have a link to another SV race bike builder/team so would not want to be seen to be spreading gossip regardless of the validity of the claim

Didn't someone on here have an SV with over 100bhp?
I'm starting to imagine how much it cost him.

Dangerous Dave claimed his SV800 was putting out 110bhp. Dyno unknown. He appears to have disappeared so we have no way of validating that claim.

With the modifications listed that motor would have been about £3k, probably much more and was apparently the result of the previous owner rolling his chequebook into a ball and throwing it at JHS.

Darren, there are probably a bunch of less expensive mods, even penny-tech mods that can be used to squeeze out the best of what the stock internals have to offer. ie intake, exhaust, tuning.
