So does she still ride pillion? In her pink leathers? And when you say pink leathers, do you actually mean from neck to ankle? :o

I never said pink leathers - you did! And hell no it's not head to toe. Just a pink textile jacket and lid - as subtle as you can be with pink! It ain't that bad really.

Ah ok, for some reason I assumed by pink bike gear you meant leathers, not sure why though! No that's not too bad I guess, if you like pink :-P

So has your missus got the bug now then?

Don't get this wrong, but since you said yourself that you are a new rider I'd concentrate on getting on with the bike before you think about taking someone pillion. Once you a happy on how everything handles then someone may be lucky enough to get a pillion ride with you.

In more ways than one. Bikes are an awesome pulling tool ;)

Eh!? Not what I found. Where in the world do you live where the girls are simpler? :D

non adjustable on my bike. I do need to shim them up though to adjust to my preference at somepoint....more pressing matters first though.

What's your bike? On any SV650 from K2 onwards you can adjust the preload front and back. However you can't adjust anything else.

a '99 ;)
If I wasn't tight I'd spend £30 on the k2+ caps but as I am and I'm actually 1/2 moron I've decided to shim them up .

Indeed! Never experienced that, most girls think my bikes ugly, dirty and noisy  Or maybe you can't just pull girls on bikes alone :smt022

You can however adjust the preload of your rear shock for two up riding. It will do wonders to the handling.

Ooh how's that done, a set of big molegrips and a twist?
To be honest it's only occasional I'm 2 up.

Yarp. She sure has. Scared her witless trying to keep up with mates on a gixxer thou, R6 and another curvey going hell for leather but quickly saw the error of my ways and toned it down.

Not sure for the sake of britain's other road users whether I should go to phase two and get her on her own bike...
