I've managed to get through seven months with not actually buying anything for the SV untill last night when I bought some bobin things so I can stick the bike on the paddock stands.

I'm planning on keeping my bike standard except for a tail tidy and maybe a hugger at some point. I think having a standard can is more unique than have an after-market one...can't remember the last time I saw an SV with standard can except my own! :)

Heated grips. A 90mile round trip to work every day can mean the subtle difference between frostbite, chilblains and 'ooo, a bit nippy' ... ;)

Heated grips. Never had them in 6 years, now I can go out in leathers and summer gloves in single figures and it just takes the cold off me when my hands are hot.

Yes I am at the stage with the SV where I'm happy to just keep pouring petrol and oil in its general direction when needed. Mods done, quite happy with it. Maybe a rewire when I can be rsed.

Then I went and bought another bike to buy "stuff" for!! Bugger!
