Re: HEL Performance Systems need your help

Guys.

I think the point's been made that there have been mistakes made in the past, and I'm sure Simon will put his point of view across when he's able. My hope is that once this is properly sorted out that the ORG will benefit by having a reliable, high quality distributor for these lines.

Can we please try to make sure that what is posted in this thread is constructive. I.E can people get their measuring tapes out and get some figures in here for OEM lines, with some photos if needed to illustrate the 2 different splitter types for the front setups.

When posting this please make sure you state what year and whether it's naked of faired (IIRC the naked and S model 99-02 bikes actually had a slightly different length swing arm).

I will try and pitch in with figures from my SV650S from 2000 later tonight if no-one's covered that spec by that time.

Now, let's get this thread to being useful shall we?

I have a set of Hell lines on my bike, other then the back being a touch longer then expected there where no problems at all. All works just fine still and I've been running with them for about 4 years now.

I got a set last year and they fitted no probs on my pointy.

Used a two line kit in place of the three lines on the front.

Just goes to show that they do get it right.

Perhaps it is all just user error ;)

How do you get around the splitter if you have a 2 line front...? D:

They both connect up at the brake reservoir. The kit comes with a longer bolt and the banjos are doubled up with washers in between.
