I would go for 750 k1-k3. Likely to be cheaper. Axial brakes definately cheaper than radials. Negligble difference in performance.

ok well i can get a gixxer 750 front end k3 for £350 (about carnt remeber but around that figure)

Just don't forget all the sundries add up to quite a lot too...

...brake fluid...fender...pads...brake lines...various bolts...bearings

As regards YC's comment on the brake calipers, I found k1-k3 calipers fairly difficult to source (unless paying over the odds) in comparison to later radial ones. The radials don't seem to be that much more money either.

True about the k1-k3 calipers, I'm having a job getting hold of these atm...they are the same as sv1000 calipers tho, also bandit 1250 ones are the same as well I believe

Shock length of k3 sv is 330mm I believe YC.
I think k3 gixxer 1000 is shorter, k1 and k2 are near identical though, with the same spring rate.

Skyline, sv1000 are the same but even harder to find on ebay.
