Any details of the Arts Council scheme?

I followed a link from a shop's website, but the main site for the scheme itself is here and lists participating stockists by area.

Also I found some of the online retailers use the scheme too, like DV247.com or GigGear.co.uk

Although nice shape, you have to go play and test em.
Guitars aren't just errr guitars. The Gibson standard sooooo deeeeeeeeeep and perfect for doom metal and the like :-)
The SG is great for AC/DC type stuff...actually they do an Angus Young SG 8)

Plus like I found on mine, sometimes they have dead notes on the fret, so I played different ones til I found one that was good for me. Although they are all mass produced, every guitar will sound different and act different...they aren't all the same.
Go to a music shop...and I dare you to do stairway to heaven ;-)

I hate Fender Strats, don;t like how they feel at all. Personal choice, loads of people love em. just not for me.

meh what do I know, I just like hugging them really!

Bit embarrasing when you can't actually play at all though. 'Where's the coloured buttons, mister?'

I was planning on a taking my mate & soon-to-be guitar tutor with me to try stuff out cos he said something similar to me. The online prices are really hard to beat though, so I'm going to see if they will price match in-store or something.
