This year I hardly watched. Uniformally mediocre. Lad that won has a good voice. Gives a reliably (the only person there who could) good performance & I can picture him on stage in the West End, Broadway etc.

'Bout as far as it goes though. :nomore:

But, could any of these Xfactor robots actually write their own stuff? Ill bet not, and that this is why most of them just get forgotten, they are just not great.

According to The Official Chart Company's website, you have to pay a minimum of 40 pence for a download to be eligible for the chart.

Ah, i've read articles that the Amazon sales are outselling the XFactor one and that it looks good etc blah blah.

Maybe not then. :(

I wont buy either. I think that we should all be putting our efforts in a bringing something really odd to #1 this Christmas! I mean Last Christmas by Wham is back in the Charts 25 years on!

No music is truly unique anymore. If you know enough about it, i am sure that you can sit there and go 'Ah thats so n so from that other track'

Most things are a cover of something that never even made it off the ground, and that applies to all genres of music. FACT!

Talent shows have been round for ages. Some of the modern day stars made thier first apperance on talent shows, it just that now they are seriously mainstream.

Whoever gets to number 1, its still good for music and keeping the dwindilling music industry alive. Joe, will still have his Million quid contract, he is going to go to the US, which Leona and Alexadra done and will probably do well. If you were 18, and singing is what you wanted to do, and you had the chance to do what he did, you would, no doubt about it...plus he got to hug Cheryl Cole more than once, id do it for that alone...and and he probably has her mobile number!

Lets get Jasper Carrott and funky moped to number 1 :)
