Re: Hardy Bikers Weekend
Places mean nothing to me, but it looks suitably wiggly from the 10mile to the inch scale ;)
Only bit that doesn't look as enticing is the stretch down the A6 from Penrith, but I'm sure theres a reason for choosing that way. |

I think last year YC recce'd Hardknot but there was rather a lot of snow there, and wasn't the best idea to go up there. I know we went via Coniston. Isn't Kirkstone the one with the slate mine on it? If so we defo did that one. |

be interesting on the Duke up there I do hope the passes aren't snowed under. I'm considering a run passed Wrexham on the way up as a friend moved there a few years back, but I can't find the address or phone number at present, that'd be handy, anyway I'll make some sort of plan nearer the time. when do folks book the backpackers then ? Cheers Mark. |

if any one was wanting to do hardknott and the like i could have a whiz up there a bit before and see what the situations like with the snow and ice etc its only 20 minutes away for me, but to be honest I cant see them being to friendly that early on in the year
