where is the line? What about if you forgot dust seal with upside down fork, does just sliding seal onto leg mean they cannot be reused? :-P |

Lol, perhaps true. But that does not mean there is a case for reusing seals.
£26 for seals, by reusing them you "cost" yourself an hour or so of time to swap them MAYBE earlier than you were going to have to anyway. So because you'd need to change the oil, you'd have them off anyway in 5k miles time. What does it take to swap seals when you already have fork apart, 20 minutes? I'd say that puts it more towards "spending for the sake of it" than "false economy not to". :) |
