I have a disc lock that I *have to* use on my courtesy Blandit. It's a complete pain in the hole.

Not the lock so much as having to take off and refit the ferkin' seat every time I attach or remove the lock (that's where it's stored)

I have to use it... it's a courtesy bike, and if they supply a lock then I have to attach it whenever I'm not riding or else it'll be big poopy for me if it gets stolen.

You could always attach the lock to the grab rail instead of taking the seat off, or maybe one of the pillion pegs if they're like the SV.

I haven't seen anywhere that's thin enough for me to slip the lock over so I can lock it in place, apart from the tax disc holder and the brake disc.

I should count my blessings they didn't give me a huge chain, as the requirement then would be for me to wrap it around something big and solid like a lamp post, EVERY TIME.
