Well, another splendid turn out. Even that jonboy character turned up.

You guys think it's cold in London. You should come out to the sticks sometime. Damn it was a cold ride home

I think there more injured non riding people than there were people arriving on bikes tonight. It looked like a scene from casualty.

You wimp... There we were, Greg and I, discussing "Leigh & Leigh were coming tonight weren't they ?" I got cold feet waiting for you, not that I want you to feel quilty or anything

Well I'll have to wait to see the flying machine then....

Good to see everyone, cold ride home through the fog though. Glad you're okay Leigh, we were getting worried about you guys ;).

nice to meet all of you guys... well those who braved the cold.
thanks for the advice on the bar ends..
drilled them out this morning.. although not quite as planned. the ends of the bars are threaded rather than have the rubber bung in. One came off ok, the other one i've buggered the thread. so if i want ot put new bar ends on i'll need to either drill the hole larger still to allow the rubber buung type ones to work or re-tap the hole.

i've ridden it without the barends on and didnt really notice much difference. slightly more vibey maybe and the steering seemed lighter and a bit sharper (?) i think i almost preferred it.

see you next friday

i wanted to make a go of it but the oldman just wouldn't go, starting to think he prefers sitting infront of the tv with his slippers on than biking,

Hmmmh, I seem to remember saying on here that you were no good at porkies

I have the luxury of a fairing, whilst you have a naked.

NOW, who has the most to fear from the cold :?:

jonboy 21-11-05 06:01 PM

Okay I didn't want to admit this but on the way home I had an accident. The roads were okay, the bike was fine, took it nice and easy (apart from the Hatfield Tunnel  ) and I pulled up outside Jonboy Towers. Got off the bike walked 'round to the back of the house by which time my glasses had steamed up completely, turned left to go through the back door and blindly walked straight into the wall. Some bugger had obviously moved it  .

::::: Blast got the wrong friday, ignore me having a senior moment!::::

Might pop down depends on my workload, going to be parked up near Warren Street. I will search the forums later to work out where it is.

Cheers

Rich
