now a lot of people will tell you the low carb / atkins type diet arnt good for you, it just depends how your body takes to it, it doesn't suit everybody.

but its your best chance in a week

(Those diets are phenomenally bad for you. You are effectively starving yourself, and forcing your body to consume itself to survive. This places huge strain on a number of organs, not least the liver and kidneys.
Do you (or your friends) notice a funny smell on your breath? That's a symptom of starving, this is why surgeons will lean over you and smell your breath before you get put under. They want to make sure the body is safe(er) for GA.

Okay, what is classed as 'A good weight'
And is it as simple as that?
Personally I think that I need to loose weight (at which point those who know me will hit me), but at 6'3" tall, 34" waist and 13st 7lb, I'm probably right for my height and build. Society does put pressure on us all to be a perfect shape. should we not look at our health rather than our weight?

This is getting far too deep for me................

Spot on. For 6ft 3 you should be between 12 & half stone & just shy of 14st....unless you're a girl? Then you're a tad fat!

Well I made a start. I took all of the clothes off the cross trainer and moved it into the lounge. Now I need a sit down and a chocy biscuit...
