We dont laugh at the ones that turn up on Triumphs, Ducati's or Hondas either :P

I guess thats a good thing as the two bikes thats mark has are a triumph and honda (i think??)

Welcome! We were all young once and learning on scooters, so no need to be embarassed. As someone said, the only dumb thing here is to ignore sage advice! Work hard to know your SV mechanically, and when you turn 17 you will be the absolute envy of your school mates. I wish I had been that cool at school lol.

Speak for yourself, I learned on a Yamaha FS1E moped and then a Beckett tuned 110mph Yamaha RD250E - I wouldn't have been seen dead on a scooter.
