Is it much noisier than the standard oval? im guessing it is... but you by anychance got any DB ratings?

Also is it a nice crisp sound of is it just noise? :rambo:

Got a question, just picked my can up from the dealer.

It's supplied with a "re-connector" piece which is listed but not illustrated on the assembly sketch.

I take it this is fitted onto the OEM pipe at the cut?

Advice appreciated.

Cheers

yes, you use that pipe when you want to reconnect the stock exhaust, keep it somewhere safe:)

Cheers Wolfy!

Can't see how I'd want to put the OEM back on :)

Even if i was selling it. Hehehe

Oh well, kettle , spanner, chin stroking coming up.

Got braided lines and pads to do as well.

Cheers

just take your time, tape some cardboard to the swingarm and use a hacksaw to cut the pipe, there's a hard external pipe and a soft internal one, i used a dremel to do the outer one and then hacksawed the internal one, beware the stock pipe is heavy, don't let it fall when you take it off. don't cut the little protective rubber band that foes round the new pipe too short.

once the new one is on do everything up and take it for a ride, than realign everything as they will have moved around a bit, watch out, it'll be hot

and you're done, easy peasy:)

i must have missed this one last time...

the stubby can is more of a "BARK!" to the oval can going "WOOF!" if you get what i mean, definitely a more aggressive sound, if that's your thing, mellow it ain't...

Protective rubber band?

Didn't get one in the package?

sits between the hanger and the can to stop the former from scratching the latter:

Yeah, got it. :)

In fact it's a plastic hanger, got a surface print on it to try and look like its carbon.

Thanks again for the advice.

Cheers

Is this louder than the fuel oval can without a baffle? Thanks
