I don't know if it's an urban myth (it certainly sounds like the kind of thing that would be) but I have heard a couple of times that if (for example) you are set up for someone's murder, and you serve the time and are released, if you then find them alive you can murder them without repercussions because you have served the penalty for that crime! It sounds faker the more I hear it though...haha |
Re: Grassing on your benefit fraud neighbours.
Double jepordy? you can't be tried twice for the same crime?
If you get sent down and do the time for murdering someone who turns up alive then surely if you kill them (and who would blame ya!) they can't send you down for the same crime? =p |
Re: Grassing on your benefit fraud neighbours.
Its all crap. My mum cant get damn thing. Shes 60, on her own, but because she works full time she cant get a rent rebate or anything like that. Yet if she gave up work she would be better off by about £50 a month, but her pride stops her doing it. Its so wrong.

Tonight Panorama (8.30?) is doing a report on how hard it is for kids to get jobs - but the two I saw on it this morning looked like such no-hopers!
It sounded like they wanted to be astronauts with only bloody A levels! "moan moan to hard moan" ;) One happened to have a certain Jesus look going on... (i am in no way saying jesus looked like a scruffy chemistry student with food in his beard...... but he fricking does! ;)) |
