Re-registration by a forum user who has a history of trouble making / and had previously left the of his own accord. I'm not going into details but he left after making some nasty personal attacks on some of the mod / admin team, so his presence isnt welcome on the forum anymore at all.

Ah well, the gods have spoken.

Back on topic.

I really dont think there is much of a difference performance wise. A whopping 2bhp extra on the pointy, but you sacrifice 1ft/Lb of torque....woohooo. :o The thing is, thats only at one set RPM - yet when you ride it's all of the rev range you're using. Go ride em to find out which you prefer.

Look at them both, ride them both. Haggle!!!!

Pedrosa is right tho, the silver pointy frame is a little vulgar and industrial looking to me too.

It's amazing innit. There is only 6 versions of SV to choose from, pointy or curvy in nekkid, 'S' and full fairing.

I cant imagine the headaches of choosing the right gsxr750, 25yrs of model revisions. :smt104

Re: Curvy or Pointy

the curvey is like a pac man cartoon and the pointy like a transformer i rekon curvey for a lady and pointy for a bloke but both nekkid for that chunky massive muscle machine look, i love silver pointy chassis it looks well metal:smt035
