:grouphug: It'll be a relief to get rid of it that's for sure! Good luck with it all and I hope it mends properly for you. When you get physio, make sure you do any exercises they give you cos they really work.

PS. try washing your right arm pit with your right arm and your left arm pit with your arm held in sling position also try your left ear :) these are the problems i am having. my wife is being golden tho and isn't complaining when helping me "arrr bless her, my little nest of vipers" :)

It's a nightmare isn't it?! You have my full sympathy - was in a cast for 5 weeks recenty and couldn't get it wet :p Hubby had to wash my hair for me and all sorts. He's become quite housetrained now cos of having to do housework all the time ;)

I'm still doing physio to get the movement back in my thumb and it's taking a loooong time. I detatched a ligament along with a chunk of bone so it'll take a while to get back to normal. I still can't ride a bike though cos I can't pull the clutch in :mad: Be reet though!

hey guys, got some GREAT bruises coming out!
had a good hol, apart from the first night the crutches slipped and of course bad leg went down..i bawled my eyes out and was nearly sick at the feeling of pain!
Only had one more moment during the hol when i woke up one day and i must have laid funny as my leg HURT-tears kinda hurt.
im ok on painkillers now, everythings settled down, got fracture clinic on friday.got a update on me sv but ill post that im me "rider down thread"

my shoulder is still yellow 3 weeks on! rest and heal fast:)

Hun i know waht your going through, my mate andy bust his collar bone after getting knocked off millie and i stayed a weekend with him not long after he did it-it looked and sounded awful (heard it crunch and crack a few times), and yup his was a yellow colour for ages!
just dont do waht he did and go out about a month alter and buy and start riding a new bike WHILE it was still bust :rolleyes:
