Re: Tuesday 30th Oct - Shire Horse (reprise)
Would be rude not to. I also heard that that was the best way of warming your rental bike engine:smt077!!

Re: Tuesday 30th Oct - Shire Horse (reprise)
I thought that was done by holding your front brake on, reving up and dumping the clutch... Wouldn't that work???:smt029
Either that or leaving your bike outside in the cold whilst having a nice drink in a warm pub, then starting her up cold and reving the balls off of it??? Errr hang on... |
Re: Tuesday 30th Oct - Shire Horse (reprise)
Got home safe enough. Thought I was going to run out of petrol though. 160 miles out of the tank. Jeez I must ride like a girl.

Re: Tuesday 30th Oct - Shire Horse (reprise)
Yeah I made it home fine, though it was bloody cold. its a 64 miles round trip exactly for anyone who wanted to know. Phil is fine too, or at least up until the roundabout near his house. I was a bit hungover for the meet though, I usually have many anecdotes so I promise not to drink so much next time and regale you with useless stories!
