I disagree. If you're gonna tell someone they are "a prime candidate for killing themselves" then you are assuming that their riding is gonna be the cause, otherwise how else is LP making himself a prime candidate?

Apparently I'm at imminent risk due to speeds I occasionally reach, so what's the difference?

Bottom line is, if anyone jumps to any conclusions about other peoples riding, expect to have your own views scrutinised.

Plowsie, since when did I become your b1tch?! :smt103 PMSL

I feel I must apologise to the thread creator as all of this is getting a bit off-topic. It was not my intention to "shoot anyone down". However I consider LP to be a m8 and I won't have anyone criticise a m8 when they can't offer justification for it.

So to get back on topic ...

I personally don't think banning bikes from anywhere as lovely as North Wales is the answer ... and nor do I think that "having a quiet word" will work with some bikers either. My own suggestion would be perhaps to improve/increase road signage, and maybe even to make it targetted at bikes/bikers! Combine a road sign that says "TURN TIGHTENS" and tie half-a-dozen bunches of fresh flowers to the post and it would IMHO* be more useful.

However, there will (probably) always be a very small minority that just won't pay any attention

*IMHO = In My Humble Opinion, which, if you disagree with then you are entitled to come up with reasoned arguments against ;-)

That'll be me.

This thread was always going to be derailed. It's such a stupid story.

Derailed threads are always the best

Well I wasn't the only one who didn't ... I'm sure I saw someone else tell you they thought you were out of order for telling someone to mind their own business

The difference is that if you want to criticise your own riding no-one gives a sh*t ;-)

So who's views are being scrutinised and whos the one jumping to conclusions about other peoples riding?

When you said those that do 3 figure speeds should be caught and banned.
