What also seems stupid is that near me there is an Esso and a Texaco at opposite ends of a one mile straight. Texaco is 2p per litre more for petrol and has been for the last few weeks, even when Esso change theirs. Every morning and night Esso is packed while at Texaco you can see the tumbleweeds blowing. How on earth can the extra money from 2p a litre possibly make up for all the lost litres?!

i only put £10 a week in the car and if that runs out before the next fill up i just dont drive it, been doing that for years, the only thing is i'm only driving 60-70 miles per week now.

For the extra 30p per tank, I'd go to the quiet station :-P

me too...mind you our local garage at 107.9 UL is always pretty busy...theres a Jet garage up the road (but out of the way) which is cheaper...but always empty...
