Well, I've got a full Hindle low level one that'll go straight on yours. You'll get pulled by the plod in second though. :)

I'll be havinmg them shortened slightly and re-sleeved in Stainless and they'll be like new :)

Can anyone tell me if the pins on the calipers to the calipers mounts (with the rubber boots) are supposed to slide? Cos these one's ain't. and if they are, how do you get the buggers apart without damaging them?

Cheers,

C

Nice to see the previous owners repairs being removed.

On the the brakes the buckets working ones should fit as they are the same caliper design (still being used after 15 years) the Glides/ mounts maybe different but would fit the curvy items.

I want to here that free flowing hindle after a service.

yes they are supposed to slide :)

id love a full system but it has to be high level and then id need a remap that the only thing stopping me from getting one £100+ for system £125+ for remap

so for now i will just do the busa piston swap ;)

Yes they should slide with some resistance. Mine pulled apart with alot of effort, bang it in a vice push the caliper off

The pointy calipers Ifitted courtesy of Nobbylad were a straight swap so your bucket ones should do the same.
On the French Suzuki bits fiche the curvy ones no longer available & they tell you to use pointy.

Calipers all done and new pads in (diswasher worked a treat! :)

Air filter is re-oiled and back in. Started first push so must have done it right! :)

Not that much left to do now:

1) Voodoo the forks (in progress)
2) Change the oil and filter (going with Castrol T4 race again and K&N filter, on its way)
3) Check the valve clearances Middle of next week
4) Fit new Irridium plugs
5) Rub down and fill bodywork (started)
6) Fit sexy seat foam (on its way)
7) Paint it!
8) Dyno it
9) Fit Horn!
...

10) RAG IT on the first available track day! :)

Hopefull done by Xmas!

Jusat found a photo of the Bucket before it went down the track! This is the only photo there is of the new... "unblemished" colour scheme and one of only about 8 laps completed....
