Re: While I dont wish to tempt providence....
I re-waterproofed my leathers and goretex trousers last night. Which has 2 benefits, 1 is that all my gear is waterproof, and 2, so is most of my skin. When I try to wash it off I get very good beading, I should enter my arms in a show-and-shine.
So after all that, it's guaranteed not to rain. |
Re: While I dont wish to tempt providence....
I'm completely p!ssed off with all this. Anne is giving me lectures about the dangers of bad weather and how worried sick she'll be, the forecast is all over the place, and I've had a long day in scouseland and only just got home, too tired to take it all.
I'm off to bed:rolleyes::smt070 |

Re: While I dont wish to tempt providence....
All these negative vibes about the weather that have been posted in this thread are getting me down and I live 4 miles away and the metcheck forecast for today was nothing like the actual weather we've had today.
It rained for about an hour at lunchtime rest of the day has been scorching hot. I was sat outside with a beer cleaning our bikes till it got to dark for me to see what I was doing. In my t-shirt and jeans and I was sweating. The BBC website I have found is notoriously wrong. Friday is now two days away plenty of time for the forecast to change. Jesus anybody reading this thread will be expecting us to need an Ark to get in and out of Somerset at this rate. Can we not try and be a bit more positive ? |
