Nah, bad plan- the thread's not supposed to hold the fluid, it's the base (or tip) of the nipple that does that. PTFE tape is more to stop fluid leaking past the thread when you're bleeding the brakes.

Right, well I swapped the nipple over and it stopped leaking, so it looks like I'm good to go. Seems to work, but the leaver travel is a bit to be desired.

Once again I hate them, but this time it the rear caliper, I have two that don't work, so even with SVRash's caliper hopefully arrivin' tomorrow I ain't going to be able to get her on the road in time.

I can't think why one of the pistons was a real git to get out...
