Re: Who used the bike this morning?
Rode to work, the last 5 miles were fine. The first half mile was on ungritted road where the snow had all been compacted. It was bizarre...the rear-end was constantly wiggling and sliding and otherwise misbehaving, but never really felt out of control. When I finally got back onto real roads I couldn't get my head around what was going on when my tyre was actually gripping again ;)

Re: Who used the bike this morning?
Tried and fell at the end of my road.

Re: Who used the bike this morning?
I had the option to stay at home or take the bike to work. So I took the bike to work and to be honest I didn't find it too bad. Had 2 very close drops but just managed to keep it off the floor. If anything it was worse coming back because it was more slippy because of the slush.
I can say I've done it now so I won't be doing it again. :D |
Re: Who used the bike this morning?
Of the eleven who have used the bike today how many have got safely home without incident?
Do you live in the South East? Just curious because you are a lot braver than me in our local conditions [Essex] and it seems to have varied depending where you are in the country |
Re: Who used the bike this morning?
Did I technically use the bike or not? Since I could not actually get onto the road...

Re: Who used the bike this morning?
I tried to ride, got half a mile and was forced into bottling it due to Suzuki's rear brake levers being made out of cheese.
