Re: Newbie + SV650.org = Need guidance
route number 2 :) done. with a quick stop in the forest maybe, cos i like pictures of landscapes.
|
Re: Newbie + SV650.org = Need guidance
Ok...maybe deviate the route a bit though to do some twistys as the route is pretty straight!
Will be slow going through the new forest bit..don't fancy hitting any wild horses. ...and this is by no means me vollunteering to be leader! I'm just providing suggestions! ;) |
Re: Newbie + SV650.org = Need guidance
haha
|
Re: Newbie + SV650.org = Need guidance
yea, bit straight, but most of the roads around it look tiny.....

Re: Newbie + SV650.org = Need guidance
Right guys, I'm gonna stick my oar in.
Why head to the coast on Bank Holiday Monday when if the weather is good, and it appears you won't be going if it isn't, so the roads will be absolutely rammed and the resorts full of screaming kids dropping ice cream on your pride and joys? That's if you can find somewhere to park even. Come up to the Midlands. Yep, the roads will still be busy but they are more open, tend to have less speed cameras on them, and there are usually more options to find B roads that are demanding and less busy. End of tourist infomercial :) |

Pete is right about going to the seaside on a bank holiday...what to do what to do.
Decision lies with the topic starter I reckon! :) |
Re: Newbie + SV650.org = Need guidance

umm, could head to new forest way, stop for luncheon, or go to boxhill or sumit (i havent been there yet) i need some guidance...having only been riding weeks its hard for me to know where is worthwhile going! :O( a272 from start to finish ;o) wherever that may be! And 11.30 is cool Nick, gives me time to do my hair hehe |
Re: Newbie + SV650.org = Need guidance
Just a couple of suggestions. Ignore them freely if you wish:)
http://www.hcafe.co.uk/ http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...1,1.722107&z=9 Or Sammy Millers museum. There is a cafe outside, as I understand it, so no need to actually go inside if you don't want to. http://www.sammymiller.co.uk/ http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...,0.861053&z=10 |
