I remember the fuel protests, I ended up doing all the parts deliverys for the garage I worked for... J reg 1.1 pug 205, it was the only car available that could use LRP/4 star and that was all we could reliably find, naturally my boss picked up the fuel bill and also let me fill it (from bone empty) another twice when it was all back to normal as a thankyou.

My current car is on LPG and thats rocketing in price, from £17 a fill to £28.... Really fancying a old atom smasher (mechanical injection diesel) and run it on veg oil.

Ah, the diesel solution. Let's all go out and get lacklustre carcinogenic spewing oil burners just because the range is better and the government have decided CO2 is more evil than satan's farts. Not to mention half of the crap ends up belched on the roads and then us lot have to dodge it.
