Are we going be riding in a formation/system before hitting the services?

Not major style... Its easy enough to keep together, just take it as it comes. :)

Me and orose had a slight bit of difficulty last time...I'm 'just a bit' slow.

me finks that it will be time to do a greek /orose sandwich, with Dave numbers as the filling. This way whenever the leader moves, so will Dave, as the TEC will have already seen leader move......and if Dave struggles then TEC can give him a nudge. Have done this technique many a time with novice/nervous riders. makes them feel secure, and not feel like they'll be left behind or have to catch up:p

So what route are we taking? (by we I mean the tankersley mc'd squadron) I don't fancy going the motorway route all the way in...

Are we meeting everyone up at the lakes? If so I propose going up m1 onto m62, around Bradford ring road and then onto skipton. From there we can take the a65 all the way to Windermere. Only done this route once before a couple of years back but it's got to be better than the motorway

everybody is meeting at a fornton (sp) services on the M6, thats where the rideout starts, from whereever you are coming from.
  • The rideout date is set at the 21st of February 09.
  • The meeting point is Lancaster-Moto services. Junction 32-33 M6 Northbound.
  • We are aiming to depart at 11:00. Please arrive in plenty time if you are wanting food there. It would be prudent to aim to arrive at about 10AM.
  • After the rideout we will be staying at Ambleside Backpackers
