Got one of them but I couldn't do with getting stuck over there if I go and smash myself up

The problem with health insurance companies is that they generally charge a fortune for motorcycling and then they charge an excess and I don't think a lot of them will cover you if its your own fault anyway.

hmm might leave it then unless anyone knows otherwise. May experience with travel insurance in general is not worth it after all the excesses but know someone that got stuck abroad recently and had to remortgage her house to get back.

I don't want to put you off health insurance if it makes you feel safer but for me I wont.

I understand that there are costs incurred in France however it seems like these costs are limited and considering excesses present in health insurance I'm not convinced its worth it.

I went to the US last year and rode motorcycles over there, I got health insurance then because your ****ed in the US if you don't have insurance. It's a lot easier to get home from France and the NHS will cover many of the charges incurred in France medical bills.

Our yearly travel insurance specifically covers motorcycling amongst other things, we checked, £90 for me and Clair for the year.

Direct line mate, make sure you specifically ask and mention about motorcycle travel.
