i never thought of going to the local cop shop.........its probably a little house somewhere in the middle of nowhere...

i might need a beer saturday night but i don't want to risk it in case it goes down too easily (last thing i would want is it to turn into a power drinking session lol....then there is no way i could ride the next day)

I was looking at the travel lodge....£47 saturday night...sleeps 4 adults....anyone else thinking of this????

It looks like me and Vince Charming are going to be there. Hoping to ride up on saturday with Jonboy et al from the Essex/Suffolk direction.
Even got a new tent just for the experience.

Im still a maybe Im afraid. I'll try and get there for the start (won't be camping - must go out the previous evening and celebrate the occasion of my birthday) and as a last resort, you might all see me somewhere en-route.

However, I'll probably not make it so will wish everyone a good time now.

I have had to pull out, Family commitments.

Well I am bringing a two man tent that sleeps 3 easily. You are welcome to share my tent. There is a possibility that Mrs Ape won't be attending anyway as the littlest Ape has tonsillitis and isn't to well.

I have now acquired a second tent on loan from next door, so Fraser now has accommodation, and you never know he might find someone to share with him :wink: :wink: :lol:
