Yeah crap ending, would have been better if someone died. The "use the son's recycling project to escape" trick has been used a few too many times before - a bit cheesey.

It probably happens in real life but spooks have already had one leader 'burn out' in the 1st/2nd series. This story of adam getting pushed over the edge has been done before surely?

The general 'aftermath' storyline was good though, i wouldn't be suprised if someone hadn't thought that one up for real. They made some good points about not being able to stop pollution because of india, china etc so why not prepare for a really messed up world?

Got to agree, though....last night's wasn't the best of the series.
