They look great and I having had one on my SV I think they sound fantastic. However, they do suffer from documented build quailty and fitting issues. I had mine on my SV for nearly two years after 2 years and 18K, Both the end caps had split, the can hanger rubber had split, the can hanger had to be modified to get it support the can properly and when the rubber split it rubbed through the titanium skin on the can. Both end caps repeatedly popped rivets from the end caps. I sent it back to blue flame who repaired the can at no cost to myself, as its covered by its lifetime warranty. It took about 5 days for them to turn the can around. Personally I think there are better products out there in that price range. Such as the Remus range of exhausts. |

ahh well its nothing either way as the bike came with it and as it has a lifetime guarantee you cant moan!!!

yeah cheers guys, r&g crashbungs went on first thing...lucky i did cos soms fella knocked my bike over on my driveway the second day i had it, 23 hours after delivery....they stopped SOME of the damage... :mad:
as for the blue flame fingers crossed nothing will happen...but i am getting a good deal so..... as for me asking about every little thing...isnt that what forums are for !? :-D |

cheers...its ok now, all went thru insurance everything was replaced and it looked brand new as was meant...had to miss out on brands hatch tho, all my mates still rode there...i had to sulk at home !! :rolleyes:
All really the things i mentioned ages ago at the start, all cosmetic right now, when i have a decent summer under my belt and i (hopefully) get a good feeling for the bike, and also the football seasons over (im a season ticket holder so costs me too much money) i will have the money to upgrade suspension and bits like that..... for now just the little bits, im plannin to keep it for a couple of years so dont want to go tooo crazy.... yourself !?.....done much or doing much !?? |

Much the same - cosmetic's mainly. Next purchases for me are a fender extender and a new can (quite fancy a Beowulf) and I think I'll change the front springs before too long as well.
Other bits I'm considering are: LED indicators (Roca conv on frt), a hugger, rad covers, braided hoses in time and will be changing the stock tyres (to Bridgestones or Avons) when they're done as well. |
