myc: the second one is the dressing they put on it at the hospital, looks and smelled like iodine, seemed to do a good job of calming it:cool:

PMSL! I see what you mean tho. Just a piece of gauze on the wound i'd guess.
Looks a little like a bullet wound in the second pic too, lol.

Haha ye I thought that too! I didn't think it could be a transfer but it does look like a flame thing, thought maybe it was a novelty dressing or something lmao. Glad it's doing the trick anyway Mr Wolf :D

You can buy iodine in bottles and I swear by it. I bet the dog loved it. I came out the bathroom the other day and rather than smile or call Saffie up to say hello, I just stood and stared at her.....he freaked out and came to (play) attack me. They're so funny!!!

And to be fair you said 'right on the white line'...........not over it, it may have caused you to stand the bike up, but being 'right on the white line' is not illegal or reason for someone else to be at fault.

lol.. it`s inadine.

Is excellent at "drying out" wounds and also contains anti biotic properties. Is a bit daft just covering it with gauze tho or did they have an adhesive dressing on it? the wound needs to be occluded to minimise the risk of infection!

Keep an eye on it LW and if it becomes red, inflamed or starts to stink go see your GP for a quick course of anti biotics.
