I was taking a look through the check list that Dar made and I was just wondering do we need to take a strap or something to tie the bike down on the ferry. Thanks

nope,they have ratchet straps and all on the ferry,just throw your gloves over to protect your seat and sorted 8)

Yeah - lads on the ferry are usually dead sound - when I brought the SV back from England, chap even showed me a spot to stow my lid so I didnt have to carry it around on the boat :D

As far as accomodation is concerned we were thinking of a family room in one of the travel lodges £55 per nite but split 4 ways unless Hazel or one of the boyos have better ideas
At this time we would probably number 4-6 but Vltn and me have been singing the praises of the Scottish roads so a few of the others want to come along
