So what are we going to do now when we want to hide text?
We used to be able to choose white to really hide it or grey to make it faint. So with half the org on a black background & the other with the default white, what can we do?

I really like the new banner but not a big fan of the new colours yet, also the text used to be bold on posts i had'nt read so i did'nt miss any while scanning through page quickly.

Oops the new posts are still bold sorry didnt look properly as my retina's had detached.

Dark night is terrible, changed to dark day which is much better. Why not make the dark day the default?

If you go in to the control panel you can select the one you like to be default.

I like it. Looks less busy but is harder to spot some things on the page.

Shame the the new banner disappears (goes back to the old one) when you change back to the usual colours too...

Why not keep the existing one as default, and let people make the change themselves if they want, rather than forcing change on them.

The poll should ask which of the three options you prefer. I didn't like Dark Night. Dark Day wasn't too bad, but I find the old scheme to be more readable.

I know that, but changing to a user-prescribed default isn't the same thing as a default.
