Bearing question for Curvy

Hi all,

I have a GSXR600 K1 front end coming for my Curvy SV650 Trackbike. I know you need to fit a special head bearing and did a search but after 28 pages I gave up.

Can someone tell me what bearing I need to buy and where to get it from, I'm gonna fit the front end during Xmas break?

Thanks

HHH

Re: Bearing question for Curvy

Bottom bearing is same as any GSXR or SV

For top you need to fit special bearing from twin works factory

Damn I aint getting that in time for Xmas, does no one in the UK stock it?

Or does anyone have the measurements for the bearing as it may be an off the shelf item?

You will be very lucky. Bearing you buy from TWF is a larger one machined down. HR32906 is apparently same but rare.

There is a bearing place round the corner from me I'll ask in the morning, if its a no go I'll order from TWF in the afternoon and cross my fingers

Just had a thought why cant I use the SV stem with the GSXR yokes?

No reason why not. You'll need to make a spacer for the top though. I would use GSXR stem just because it is easy.
