Theory Test on Friday.

Firstly Hi all from a Noob and nice to meet you all / read your thoughts :smt039

I have my theory on Friday morning and currently swotting up using a dvd type thing from morrisons.

Hazard perception and the test itself seems pretty self explanitory but can any one tell me how "motorbike" related the majority of the questions are.

i.e. is it mainly like a car test with a few chucked in or are the questions predominantly bike related. . .

Any advice welcome !

you mean you have your theory test on Friday and haven't even looked at the test questions?

EDIT:

I think I was using this site: http://www.theory-test.co.uk/asp/default.asp
You can get a free test or full access for 5 quid or something like that.

Good luck

I did my bike theory six years ago, I just passed my car theory two weeks ago. Skankin gits charge for a test which has one or two different questions :-(
TBH I'm in the way of thinking the test is predominantly car based, with an odd question that is solely for bikes.

But they change the questions frequently so be sure not to be caught out!

Most of the questions the same as for the car theory, but there are some motorbike specific ones which you wouldn't know if you've only trained for car theory.

Cheers Guys,

Yes I have checked through the questions but there are hundreds of possible general questions, I was curious mainly to the percentage of bikes ones and if I needed to concentrate on the general car ones as much. Guess drill them all in to be safe is the answer.

Didn’t have any of this theory stuff when I first learned to ride, pair of L plates and off you went with your life in your hands. I wasn’t even required to read the highwaycode technically.

This helps folks, cheers.

Yeah theyre mainly car based, with a few questions about bikes, such as what to do with a visor instead of a windscreen.

firstly good luck.

I would recomend getting the DVD rom for your pc and do the tests each night so you know what you are going in for.
I passed my test last year and can say that if you already drive it's a total pain and you spot the hazzard earlier than you would as a non-driver. i seemed to click too early.

again, good luck.

I had the DVD for the bike hazard perception, but it refused to work on my POS player, so went in blind. I was a non driver, with little road experience as a rider.
I passed with three more points than this time, so not necessarily the case for over clicking. But that just proves I must be getting old ;-)
