Tyres for sale - Cheap!
 

OK I have a selection of part worn tyres for sale, all cheap with some decent life left in them. I'd prefer collection from Reading or meeting within 10-15 miles of Reading, as I'm rarely at home for couriers to collect and I dread to think what parcelforce charges, but I'm open to delivery suggestions. I'd prefer to sell them as pairs where possible.

On to the tyres, they are all 180/55 17s at the rear and 120/70 17s at the front apart from the Michelin track intermediates which are the equivalent size for race tyres.

Now on to the tyres:

1 - Pair of Michelin Pilot Road 2

I fitted these to my GSXR for a tour of the alps, I did about 3k kms on them in a week, and then also did another few hundred clicks to an Assen WSB meet. I was surprised by the grip on offer from these tyres, although they were slightly slower steering than my normal trackday tyres, not surprisingly!

The front I would say is ~ half way through its life and has a good profile.

The rear is more like 2/3s of the way through its life, but still has a good few thousand miles/kms left in it I reckon. It is very slightly squared off after the last motorway flog to Assen, but nothing major. This set would be great for commuting, a UK tour or similar. £25 NOW 20 for the pair.

2 - Single Front Dunlop Qualifier RR

This came with my no budget race bike an SRAD I bought off Yorkie Chris), I believe it has done ~ 1 TD or may be less and is in good condition, no cold tearing and almost all its tread left.

It still even has its chicken strips! This would make a great cheap summer sports tyre, and fine for some TD use SOLD

Pair of Michelin Pilot Intermediate (i.e between wet and slick) Track Tyres

These again came with the old SRAD I bought. Profile is fine, they look like they might be abit old, but hardly worn. I've no real idea how these are, probably suited to damp conditions, but I'm only guessing. Tread is fine, very "sharp" at the back, not quite so at the front.

These are not road legal! £20 for the pair NOW 15!!!

I've just seen fron the photos that 've a BT-016 front too, I'll get some photos and check its condition before posting it on here with a price.

BT-016 has been delivered, the rest are still available. Surely there must be some commuters or people on a budget who need some cheap tyres?
