Ah...sour grapes ya bunch of feckin wimmin. It's uber cool and I love it. I was going to buy an ipod anyway. The camera's perfectly adequate for my needs, there's maps, youtube and an ipod - oh and it's a phone! The web is sensational - you can browse real pages, view videos, download files - unlike all the other sh!te that only shows wap pages.

Oh and the best bit - out in Edinburgh on Saturday, playing with iphone in the pub...up strolls this stunner who wanted a look at it. I will be taking said stunner out this Friday.

Get it right up yeez ha ha ha!

All of a sudden, this thread is nothing without pictures!

Had a wee shot of an iPhone in the Apple shop in Glasgow yesterday and, in common with the iPod Touch and the iMac, it was deeply, deeply sexy. Mind you, all the iThis and iThat got right on my tits and fast!

Ermmm.. N Series Nokia N73/95's etc can do all that too ;)

Can the iphone browse through a wireless connection.. anyone know? was looking at upgrading from the N73 to the N95 for that feature.. like the look of the iphone, but would not be buying one from the uk!

No they can't. Colin who works beside me has an n95 and it comes nowehere close to the iphone.iphone gives you full web pages. Yes the iphone can browse through wireless. It can also browse unlimited pages via the edge connection - a bit slower but still way faster than the n95.

KK - of course cheeky bugger lol

E65 works through wireless or 3G, gives full webpages in the correct format, only problem is because the screen is a phone screen, you have to scroll for ages left and right, up and down to see stuff.

As with the ipod (there was small 20gb hard disc mp3 players before the ipod, they just weren't that popular), apple has caught on to old technology and made it thier own, but done it well they have. never liked the ipod, like the iphon though, not that I'd own one.
