kit cars. I'd probably be ripping smashed up bikes to bits and bolting their engines to home made space frame chassis' and then trying to make them go round a track...

Do you mean pouting in front of a camera or a different sort?

For me it would be 3d graphics. Most of the time this gets more attention than my bike does tbh.

Re: passions

For me family and friends are most important I love hanging out, any excuse for a beer or party and I'm there:D

If you didn't know by now I love bikes, I could never be without a bike now. I love scuba diving, martial arts, sailing and making films. I'm not sure how people describe but I would say that there is a fire that burns with within for anything I have a passion for.

I'm actually superuised I made it out of my teenage years and college, in one piece got into a few scrapes, nearly downed once which was scary among a few other close calls. So yeah it I think its worth I will take risk in whatever it is.

Martial Arts is ace, I love it I have learnt loads of cool stuff, its hard but fun, but I guess you have to be into that.

I tend to like anything that is a bit danergrous, that I get a buzz off, I love blue light runs at work, it really gets me fired up, really anything like that.

Travelling is awesome as well, I have so much fun travelling I have met loads of people, one of my favourie random times was meeting people when I was 19 in NYC and going to bars and having a good time, thats just one....actually I have been under table many times, but u know this page isn't big enough to go into that. I always had fun though. I left high school when I was 18, the next week I was NYC:D how cool.

I'm in a lucky postion that I enjoy my job, and already have worked out what I want, where I want to be over the next 10-15 years, I can't wait to get stuck in. I take pride in my work, I want to be the best I can.

I'm belive that life is there is to be enjoyed and you take what ever you can and enjoy it.

Yup I used to as well, used to go with my grandad fishing a lot, I still have some gear some where I think. Though haven't been in a long time.

There's a lot of people that like running on this forum aint there... why haven't you all contributed to the Running Shoes thread? Also, why can non of you type the word RUNNING? G2D I wouldn't be supprised if people went running with their kids, so why not run behind them? Least that way you can see them...

Anyway, for me, it's family, bikes, computers. I'm lazy, I'm not that into running.

Re: passions

Been thinking about this one.....I'm at a stage where I appear to be passionate about absolutely: NOTHING

I used to be really into music - gigs, writing music, playing music, listening to music
I used to do martial arts (I used to play/teach capoeira, did a bit of karate, kick boxing, judo)
fell walking
rock climbing
loads of surfing
loads of snowboarding
fiction writing
drawing

I just seem to ride a bike as a means to an end, the track day was fun, doing bits on a bike is really interesting but the novelty will wear off.

I just seem to drift from one hobby to the next. I'll do a hobby for a couple of years, learn as much as I can then drift into another hooby.

Which leads to the questions: What's it all about? Do I need a raison d'etre when I can't even manage a quelque-chose a faire?

This may be why I'm planning my RTW trip - fresh perspective n'all.

I have other interests than biking, not sure I'd call them passions though. They are:

Fitness
Mountain Biking
Cars
Music
Film
History
Poetry
I also enjoy a bit of power kiting every now and then.

I ****ing hate DIY, but that seems to take up a lot of my time of late ;)

I think thats a good thing really. Sure have some hobbies, enjoy them for a while, then move onto other things. Why stop, theres so much in life to do, at least try to do as much as you enjoy as possible. :riding:
