The new Guy!!

Hey guys i'm new to the biking world and this site so thought i wouldsay hi!!. I'm from Stonehaven near Aberdeen, getting my Suzuki sv 650s in 2 months time. it's a 55 plate with 800 miles on the clock and blue. In perfect condition and at a bargain price so can't wait to get it home. Passed my full bike test 2 weeks ago so can't wait to get out for a ride. Anyone on here near me?

Yeah i'll be taking it easy for a while, just wanna get more comfortable riding around once i get the SV home. Not a speed freak to be honest i just love the feeling of being out there on two wheels! that's half the reason i did my bike test in Aberdeen. Took me 3 weeks start to finish and just can't wait to get going now!. i know aberdeen really well where were you from?

I'm from stonehaven so can't be associated with the sheep----- name :) as i say won't get the bike for a month or two as just waiting for the guy that owns it to get his triumph rocket.

Originally from Ayrshire to be honest, moved to the Bridge of Don @ 11, then out to Alford about 18 - then down here to Londonshire :)

That would explain the pathetic (brilliant for you) mileage on a 55 plate then. He must be a dry weather & polishing type of guy. Nice one.

Welcome to the site Dez youve picked a decent bike to have lots of fun on.

An SV650S was my first real bike and I had it for 5 years

Hope you can make it to some of our rideouts and dont be shy on here if you cant.

I'll try and pop out on a rideout if one is near me sometime just with my work hours being akward i may not manage just have to wait and see :).

Re: The new Guy!!

+1 for IAM. A great thing that.

Here's the important thing Dez - you don't need to turn up every meet, so you're OK with your shifts. Just watch out for the price hike that's coming, but it's still a bargain at the new cost. Watch for show deals at the bike show in March too - only a week or so away now.

Your local bike groups own website / forum thing... http://www.iam-adam.org/

Garry;)
