Ask me nicely and you can swap your street extreme for my Scorpion carbon........

Re: exhaust question
Ok, the downpipes I use can be found here http://www.twinshack.co.uk/prods/278.html. The bore in the Hindle race can that fits this set is a smidge over 52mm.

Re: exhaust question

Re: exhaust question
thers a full micron system in the for sale section at the min that may be of use 2 you.
;) |
Re: exhaust question
As the original pipework is cut to use a slip-on exhaust I'm not sure it's a case of the link pipe easily fitting between manufacturers as different people will make the cut in different places?
|
Re: exhaust question
aye very true tho if your buying the pipe work on its own do you not get the full system apart from end can???or do you not get the link pipe either?
if its everything less the can then you may be alryt 2 still use your own can. ;) |
Re: exhaust question
If you looking for a full system with a slip with the diameter of 60mm to fit on then you have no chance without making modifications! The M4 full system for the curvy SV is the largest diameter pipe work there is, and thats not 60mm in diameter!!!

Re: exhaust question
My M4 is thin walled too, and i know for a fact that the 54mm remus can does not fit. Haven't really measured it to be precise, I had another link pipe made up by a friend who works for a local metal fabricator so when it comes to MOT time (or I'm attracting to much attention again time) I can slip that on with a LeoVince SBK removable baffle can.

Re: exhaust question
If it's too big, that's easy, you can always sleeve things... Though it'd take a bit of work to make it look good. Rather than buying new, I'd be lurking around boards and Ebay looking for an exhaust with a damaged end can, race systems can sell for peanuts used (I got both of my WRP full systems for less than the RRP of some slipons :) )
