My New Ride

Well here she is - my new FZ1S. She's just a week old and already has a few mods - yam lower fairings, yam crash bungs, evotech tail tidy, yam hugger. I took these pics before spoiling her completely with an sw-motech rack for my topbox. :-(

Those arn't strips...whole breasts more like. ;)

I quite like it, which is strange as i've never been too keen on Fazers.

Welcome to the elite group that is being a Yamaha owner.

The journos reckon they have. You can always remap anyway. :smt045

swmbo still wont let me, and besides they seem to have done away with the nice red/black colour scheme I'd have wanted... there is always later in life.... doesn't sound like a twin.... SV is more than enough bike for me etc etc

:( (I have to tell myself these things lol)

Just get one...maybe she won't notice. ;)

If she goes pillion then it has to be more comfy as well. You see....you're getting it for her benefit really. :p

I haven't noticed any snatchyness. All the bike mags seems to think this was fixed from the 2007 model onwards.

i did try a ducati st3, but i was worried about reliability as bits of it fell off during my test ride.
Oh and there were too many knob faced knobsters on the ducati forum that i joined. :|

Yes, I noticed that he hasn't posted any photos of the right hand side :D

There's a brand new one of these parked in the bike bay at work. I noticed it this morning and all I could think was how ugly the exhaust is.

Re: My New Ride

haha busted! I took some pics of the other side but didn't post them cause the exhaust is ****. Unfortunately swapping them over isn't quite as easy as it is in the SV - u have to deal with the EX-up cables that attach the the valve in the standard can.

I've got my eye on a apracovic can, but its £600 plus what ever i have to pay the yam stealer to fit it, and wife says i'm all spent up at the mo. I wonder if she'd notice...

Thats the problem, since now she is a fellow SV'er I'm not allowed a 'faster' bike in case i leave her in the distance..... not that the bike makes much difference in that respect :batman:
