music advice required for a family video

OK, I am helping the daughter put together her first video having bought her a camera for her birthday.

It is of her grandmother taking a balloon flight. Of course when there was enough air in the balloon for the burners to come on and through to it disappearing into the distance we had to use a Wagner's flight of the valkyries.

But for the boring 5 minutes she filmed of the balloon being unpacked and people walking round and a fan pumping air in we need something to mask the sound of a petrol engine and propeller, upto the point where gran gets groped climbing into the basket.

So come on you knowledgeable orgers. I need something light, conjures up the image of impending doom. etc. Remember this is for her gran.

BTW the point where a hand goes on grans bum to aid her in the basket has got John Lennon initial second blast from of course HELP!

Was initially thinking of Mars from the planet suite, but might be a bit too heavy. But has that melodrama

Light & melodamatic / impending doom are not natural 'bedfellows' as far as music goes !!

If not considered too heavy, I would suggest an extract from Carmina Burana - as used in the Old Spice adverts for years (I know you're old enough to remember these !! :p )

"Fire and Rain" - James Taylor

"Sweet dreams and flying machines..."

I forget how the rest of it goes...

Speed up the footage of the unpacking / assembly etc and set it to the Benny Hill theme.

Should speed the video up while they unpacking it and play that music i can never remember the name of it, really quick, goes summit like - dagadaaaada da dagadagadaga daaaaa, dagadaaaada da dagadagadaga daaaaa, dagadaaaada da dagadagadaga daaaaa. That is such a poor explanation but makes me laugh whenever I see footage with that tune in
