Should we change the Stormy meet?
 

A proposal was put forward last night at Stormy (no, no-one was on one knee).

LP brought up the idea of changing the Stormy meet from a Wednesday, to a Thursday, as there is a bike meet at Stormy on Thursdays. Not only would we get to check out lots of other bikes, but it might help attract folks from further afield on the .Org to the meets (can't get THAT much further than me though and still be a BP member).

So, votes in the poll, and feel free to post.

Yeah, I was thinking that it might galvanise more folks to meet up. Thursday not a good night for me as it conflicts with a night class I'm doing. Still it won't harm to miss one in every three.

Only downer will be the Police presence round about.

stormy is a great meet with 900+ bikes there in the summer, i vote move it to thursday and have a dedicated spot for us all to meet so no one gets lost.

Wednesday or Thursday for me, as long as you can arrange dry and preferably sunny weather for which ever you choose :cool:

It gets very crowded there on summer Thursdays. But it's actually easier for me as I'm usually in Liverpool of a Wednesday.

Thurs sounds a great idea to me ..... get to be unfaithful and dribble over other bikes.

Ohh I am at Stormy this Thurs, beng unfaithful be on back of a VFR so if anyone is there let me know and I will hunt you out

Looks like folks in favour of changing this. The next Stormy meeting is scheduled for 21st, so lets make it the 22nd instead and go on bike nite!

I was sat at home lamenting the fact that I am monthly paid and have a week to go and just about scratching enough money together to last me the week .. plus the fact my rear tyre is very close to the tyre wear indicator (bloody Metzeler Sportec M1 hasn`t even lasted 2000 miles) . And I`m so damned sore from doing almost 600 miles last weekend that I hate to say this , but , only been near the SV for commuting rather than pleasure this week . This month I will be getting out and about a lot more :)
