shiny Rad Covers

are these any useful to keep crap off or is it a bling thing?

also reading the fender extender thread on here, what other things can you do to keep crap off the front of the bike other than acf50 which i have (but not on now because i was just using it for winter... but after reading may apply some after my next clean)

cheers,
Drapes

Re: shiny Rad Covers

the rad cover works imo. My rad and oil radiators used to get covered in siht and i was always to scared to clean them to hard incase i busted the fins. Cant go wrong with em.

there is a company in germany on ebay that are superb. quick service and delivery. good quailty also.

You have to modify a rad cover to fit on the Curvy 'S' as no one makes one for them! A fender extender is the way to go, and I use ACF-50 after every wash all year round as the salt stays on the road for a long time afterwards!

Rain gutter screen. Less than US $10 a ten foot roll. Use your guard screws to attach.
Also keeps rocks and gravel out of the fins. When it gets mangy, just cut off another strip and replace.
