Guitar hero 3 - best game ever?
 

Been given one for the fathers day and I cannot believe how great it is! I just simply cannot put it down. It is phenomenal! Does anyone else have one and what do you think? I am just mastering the technique and getting ready for some internet play.

How good are the drums? As for the sake of spending £150, you can buy a real entry level electronic drum kit

The only reason I agreed to get a Wii!

However, slightly dissappointed with tune choice, GH 1+2 I feel have better tracks.

Anyone want to swap the std Wii GH3 for the aerosmith version? (much more my bag)

Single player its mainly just the songs in it.

Multiplayer - well different modes of co-op and vs play

Its pointless without the guitar..

Just look at the tracklistings for each version and pick the one with the tracks you like

Love it.

How good are people at this game? I beat the game on hard and can breeze most songs on expert, five star most of them on expert except for stuff like raining blood :D I can do Dragonforce on hard with relative ease but the intro to expert kills me.

Only have GH1 - and havent played it in months due to not having the PS2 set up

I heard it is really hard on expert. I breeze through easy with no problem. I have the Wii version and honestly with the Surround sound I feel Like Mille Pedroza from Kreator! It is awesome. I think the GH2 and 1 were not available on Wii so cannot comment. I think the choise of songs is great in GH3. White Zombie, Sex Pistols, Slayer! Not more I can ask for. Anyway I have to go and have another go now :-)

I agree, it is but it could have had some of the songs of the previous games like woman by wolfmother! Still very good though!

No to the BC Rich (which is a shame as I'd love a Warlock) but I have seen a Gibson Explorer which is a nice pointy rock guitar.

Only played it once when a mate brought it round to a party but i thought it was amazing. Difficult to pick up initially if you play for real though IMO.

Guitar hero two has good songs
Guitar hero 3 has better songs and more modes for co-op
Rock band pwnz both.

Plus with the rock band guitar you can use the small buttons. i can finally reach the orange button now and play on hard. :)

What are the drums like on Rock band? Tempted to get it but only if the drums are any good. Already got GHIII
