Desmosedici RR

Went out for a wander today, stopped at Ducati Manchester where they had this.

Thay actually had three in stock! One out which had just been sold and two being prepped. An owner was there having collected his yesterday and had popped back for the other bits after riding the RR home. They fired one up for me, Ohhhhhhh the noise, shudders down the spine, beautiful!

Careful playing on the A50 there mate. I have experienced more than one diesel spill at that little mini roundabout for the services.

And those naughty boys in blue seem to like hanging round that stretch of road as well. Might be they like to talk to people test riding Italian dream machines

I wasn't sure I liked it when I had only seen the pics. However, in real life, it's just so, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Been there, done that Tim! Don't go near them now, off into the lanes, more fun!

I've booked a test ride on a Hypermotard for Friday! Yippee!

M'cr say they have sold 15 so far, and at £40k who cares about fuel economy or tyres!

They are supplied with a set of race pipes as well as the standard ones. If you look under the seat unit, which the sales bloke delighted in telling me was "just over £4000" you can see the pipes and silencer markings.

A very sweet bike, i'm glad they had the balls to make this bike and ship it. I don't care if you can't really use the bike as everyday tool or its tyres go off after a track session its just good they still make bikes like these.

How about Honda or the other Japanese makes bringing out some high spec models too.

Not heard one of them but can imagine its pretty amazing

Ditto, thought they were a fair bit rarer than that! How many exactly are they making? Or is it not limited (I thought it was)?

I've just been following one of these. Holey sh*t does it make some noise! - like nothing else I've ever heard. Simply stunning!

The speed out of the corners was mind blowing - shame the rider wasn't so hot on the corners ;) But I was on his tail until he pulled in for fuel. Odd I thought, as the way this thing was screaming I'd have guess it runs on newborn babies.

They are so much better looking when you see them in real life. I saw one a few weeks back outside George Whites, Swindon. Stunning!!

There was one on the track at Rockingham yesterday. Sounded awesome. And the way it pulled out of the hairpin and on to the straight was noticeably faster than other bikes. Very nice.

They look much nicer when actually being used properly......when sat still in photos with no one on them they look naff, even in the flesh you wonder what the fuss is about but as soon as you see one being used properlly whether it be in the flesh or in a photo I think they look 100x better.
