Jayneflakes- You pillock!

Got up this morning extra early for a job interview, having spent last night working until 12:30 on prep for it.

So got washed and put my best interview clothes on, brushed the cat hair off of my black skirt, closed the top button of my blouse with a safety pin because it popped open due to a slight weight gain in my bust. A touch of light make up and a pile of pain killers to fight off the stress head ache.

Carol got up early and drove me to the interview and wished me luck.

Some what nervous I wandered into the building and tried to find reception. Only it was closed.

Wrong day...

Interview is tomorrow. :smt045

Had to phone Carol to be picked up again, bless her she did not laugh at my stupid mistake. I thought it was tomorrow already...:shaking:

Please feel free to point and laugh :laughat:

So, you are telling us you have gone a bit booby. Why hide it. Any male interviewer would be talking to them anyway. We can't help it. Our brains are wired up funny like that.

Thank your lucky stars it was closed. If it was open they'd have found out you'd couldn't work out what day of the week it was - wouldn't have been good for your employment prospects there!

Re: Jayneflakes- You pillock!

You should talk to Scoobs - he nearly turned up for the AR a MONTH early.....

And to quote that controversial youtube link from a few weeks ago

"BOOBIES"

Sadly it is with a woman and no hope of tempting her with my enlarged bust, the security guard informed me that she had got married recently and the name I had for her was out of date!

Am now back home, sulking and feeling rather stupid!

Hope all goes well for you tomorrow.

It is for the job as a Science Technician with a local college, a job that I am more than qualified to do, it is a job I really want and most of all it pays rather well for doing what is basically playing in lab all day. I have been doing it for another college for five years and have not got bored yet.

you must've caught the premature bug off Scoobs, didn't he get prepared for the AR thinking it was on a month early  :D

Anyway Jayneflakes it's not so bad, much better to be early than late....even if that means early by a day hehe. To be late by a day = not good :p

Best of luck with it by the way :D

Think of it this way- you've just had a dress rehearsal for getting up and arriving at the interview!

And you did your prep a night early, so you can get an early night tonight!

Thanks for asking.

Interview finished at four PM, I having been there since half eight this morning. I got the right day this time and did OK in the lab tests.

I did have to go across town for the final interview and the head of Faculty kindly gave me a lift, where upon she crashed her car trying to park!

The final bit went ok and now I just have to wait and see.

Thank you, I really need a job right now, things are a bit tight with just Carol bringing in good money.

What I would really like is to get this job, fit in really well, have a really good time and then with my first pay packet, I want to take Carol out to dinner and treat her to something really nice, like a new PVC Nurses Dress!:smt107

The worst part of being impoverished is having to rely on my beloved and seeing how hard she is working to keep us above water. I need this job really badly because we need the income, it just happens to be a really cool job too.

The college likes to make it a good day out! The final interview of the day, having been interviewed by what seemed to be everyone and their dog, lasted ten minutes.

I just hope that my ample bust proves to have been worth the effort of cramming it in to my LBD.:smt043

Also to make me really stand out, Carol did a magnificent job of re dyeing my highlights last night, so I looked wicked. :D

errr... I don't understand.

I think I am real, the thoughts in my head make me think I am real... Unless someone else is making me think these things because I am a figment of their imagination...

Going to have a lie down now.

:D Ahh, you are too sweet.

Had the result of the Interview this morning. I did not get the job and no reason was given. When I asked for feed back I was informed that the person who could give me feed back was not available.

I am disappointed, it is yet another set back. Still at least I have Pride in London to look forwards to tomorrow.

Awh I really am a bit gutted for you that they put you through 2 days of torture, well you put yourself through the first day  for nothing to come of it. Don't suppose it was even nice torture :smt102
Oh well, I'd like to think that it was a pretty small shortlist that they put through the day's worth of grilling, so you must be up there ready for the next thing to come along.

Good luck :D

Just noticed your location - can't believe you're not coming to the AR - we'll need to seek you out!

Oh and there can be only one person for the job (re SKiss) I'll make sure he get's your message :D

I recon your being made a scapegoat for the car crash!

Don't stress to much about the job, something better will come along. When Kate gave up her last job it was a month before she started temping and another month or so before she got her current job. Now she's in a cushy job (she can log onto the org most days), that pays well (since she just got a 15% payrise), with good oportunities for promotion/ job role change, and most of all, she enjoys it!

EVERY cloud has a silver lining.

Good luck with the job hunting.

Regards
Phil

Thank you to every one who took the time to point and laugh at me and then offer kind words when I failed to get the job.

It really meant a lot.

So thank you, all of you. I would do hugs, but my arms wont reach out around the world to you all, so have virtual hugs instead.
