Have managed to miss posting up reminders of the meets for a while (I claim holiday leave), so lets try to get a few more meets going. The next evening meet is Thursday 24th July, bike night at the Stormy Petrel. Vote in the poll.

I'm going to try and make this one, otherwise it looks like I'll be failing my New Year's resolution of doubling the amount of Border Patrol meets I attended in 2007 (which was one, btw).

Ive a sneaking suspicion I may be asked to cover a night shift on thurs night, so Ill say no for now, bit I wont vote until I defo know

I won`t be able to make it i`m afraid. Off to Edinburgh the next morning for a long weekend so will be busy packing etc. Have a great time everyone and i`ll be at the Tap the following week.

Just got back. Didn't see anyone I know from here but that's hardly surprising - I did meet someone who knows Quiff, though :rolleyes:

It's my first time at Tern Hill for a bike meet and it was bloomin' chocca. Quite a few SV's there and loads of other tidy bikes too.

Nice ride back, too :D

me and cus were parked behind the pub and daryl and admin (john) was there too, it was rammed hardly surprising we didnt meet.

It wasn't him (awesome bike though - did you see the hand made grab rail... hilarious but effective!), but he did know the B King guy. It was Jason who knew Quiff and he runs the another biking website for riders based in Staffordshire.

Ahh, I think I saw you and your bike! Were you parked right at the back facing the field?

Wasn't there mate, but the guy who owns the BKing lives in Macc and I saw him and some others heading out of town earlier this evening. Think he's only had the BKing since this week.

Thats no excuse ed, was a good night though, loads of bikes and people, and 2 coppers walkin round talkin to people, i suppose after the accident there a few weeks ago it'll be a regular thing, was a lovely evening weather wise, i thought it had gone really dark when i got home, until i took my helmet off and found at least a few hundred splattered flies etc on the visor !!!!. took ages to clean.
